Accommodation
Prato offers a range of long and short term accommodation options for both students and conference guests, many of which are less than a 10 minute walk from our centre.
Students
You can share a room with other students in a self-contained apartment and experience living together and discovering Prato. Some popular residences for students include Dimora 16, Foresteria San Niccolò, Teatro Magnolfi Nuovo and In Santa Trinità Rooms & Apartments. If you prefer, you can book yourself a room in one of the hotels in the city centre.

Accommodation for MGCI students
We have set aside a series of accommodation options for students enrolled in the Monash Global Campus Intensives. Most of them are within walking distance from our centre. You can have a look at them here:

Homestay program
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, our homestay program is not available. We hope to offer it again in 2023.
Conference guests and visitors
We can advise you about your options, and negotiate group bookings and reductions, but you must book directly with your chosen hotel or residence. For further information and to check out facilities, please refer to our local accommodation list.

Monash staff
We have three serviced apartments which are available for use by Monash staff. The apartments are conveniently located at our centre, on the third floor of Palazzo Vaj. For more information please look at our Apartments page.
A tourist tax is applied to all guests staying in accommodation in Italy. You’ll pay this in cash upon check in.
