Living in Prato

Student life is not just about study. It is also about meeting new people, discovering new cultures and languages, having fun, and developing skills that will make a positive impact on the world.

Prato offers a range of accommodation options for students, all within walking distance of the Monash Prato Centre. Share a room in a self-contained apartment with other students or in a residence converted from a former textile factory overlooking the hills, or simply book a room in one of the hotels in the city centre. Dimora 16, Foresteria San Niccolò and Teatro Magnolfi Nuovo are the main residences where students stay.  You can also choose the option of being hosted by a local family by joining the Homestay Program.  Refer to your Faculty to find out whether accommodation is part of an existing program package or contact Francesca Vivarelli, our Accommodation Officer for further information.
