Wednesday 12 July, 6.30pm - Ground Floor of Monash Prato Centre

Warp / Weft is an exhibition produced and curated by Monash Architecture Art & Design (MADA) students, exploring the negotiation of cultural, disciplinary and creative difference. Architecture and Masters of Design students will be presenting work produced during a three-week intensive study program that uses Prato’s rich history of textile production as well as contemporary multi-cultural identity as a foundation for exploring interdisciplinary approaches to collaboration and exchange. The program has been led by Dr Kate Tregloan with support from the Monash Education Academy. It has engaged Monash students with visiting academics from The Bartlett School of Architecture, the Architectural Association School of Architecture, Ars Electronica, Northumbria Design, Australian National University, University of Tasmania and Edith Cowan University.
The exhibition is generously hosted by the Monash Prato Centre and will be open to the wider community of Prato.
Refreshments will be served.
