Arrival of David Rosetzky: Visual Resident 2013

The Monash University Prato Centre welcomes the arrival of David Rosetzky the 2013 Visual Resident

The Monash University Prato Centre welcomes the arrival of David Rosetzky the 2013 Visual Resident who from September will spend three months at Prato Centre as the selected artist for the Visual Residency program. A Melbourne based artist, David Rosetzky works with an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to art making. Often working with practitioners from the fields of theatre, dance, film and sound – he creates videos, installations and photographic works in which identity is intimately observed.

During his residency, David will have the opportunity to engage with local institutions and industry while students of the fine arts and architecture programs who are undertaking courses at the Centre at the same time will have the unique chance to interact with David and be inspired by his work.  A final exhibition will be held towards the end of his residency.

Monash Prato invites students, academics and the community to welcome David on Friday 13 September 2013 at 7.30 pm at its centre in Via Pugliesi 26 for the presentation of the 2013 Visual Residency program during which some of the artist's existing works will be featured.
