Technical facilities
Computer labs, printing and photocopying
Three computer laboratories are available for students and feature networked computers and multi-function printers.
Our PCs and Macs have up-to-date software and hardware, including office and design applications.
To access these facilities, a local account is required and will be provided by IT Services.
NB Charges apply for printing and photocopying.
Wireless networks
A free, secure wifi network is available throughout the centre. If you are a Monash student or staff member, you can connect to the Eduroam network using your Monash account.
IT Services will be happy to provide non-Monash visitors with access to an alternative network if their institution is not part of the Eduroam network.
Audio/Video equipment and services
Our teaching and conference rooms all include the following standard equipment:
- data projector, or screen
- computer
- audio system, where necessary
Salone Grollo, Sala Veneziana and Sala Toscana each have a lectern fitted with a touchscreen central controller.
Telephony services
You can make toll-free telephone calls to Australian educational and research organisations by accessing the telecommunications link AARNet from within our centre. To make a Voice-over-IP (VoIP) call, dial 9 before the international prefix, i.e., 9 0061 (NB please dial 00 and not +) using the telephone handsets in the centre.
NB Public telephone and fax facilities are not available on-site.
