The Monash Prato Music Festival 3-12 December

Across seven days and three locations, the 2019 Monash Prato Music Festival presents public jam sessions and concerts, featuring Hobby Horse Trio, Paolo Angeli and Monash students and staff.

The 2019 Monash Prato Music Festival kicks off on Tuesday 3 December at 9.15pm with a public jam session open to all musicians and involving Monash students and teaching staff from the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music

This year’s festival features internationally-renowned artists Hobby Horse Trio, and Paolo Angeli, who will bring his own unique music to Prato with his prepared Sardinian guitar. These artists will perform at local venues Ex Chiesa di San Giovanni and Scuola di Musica Giuseppe Verdi Prato (the municipal music school).

The program includes another jam session open to the public, a special concert performed by Monash teaching staff and students in the Salone Grollo at our centre and it will conclude with two student concerts at Scuola Verdi.
