Musical cultures come together for collaboration and to discover what is possible

The Monash Jazz Festival in Prato

The Monash Jazz Festival will open on Monday 27 November at Teatro Politeama Pratese with a concert by Raymond McDonald accompanied by Monash students from the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music, and teaching staff. This festival will also welcome internationally-renowned artists such as musician Antonello Salis, singer Diana Torto, composer Paul Grabowsky, and the Hobby Horse Trio, who will perform at Fonderia Culturart and at the Municipal Music School G. Verdi. The program includes also two jam sessions open to the public (on Tuesday 28 November and Tuesday 5 December at Fonderia Cultart), and a final concert performed by Monash teaching staff and students.
All the events are free entry.
