2017 Visual Residency Program

Applications open for 2017 Visual Residency Program at Monash Prato Centre

The Monash University Prato Centre is once again offering its Italian residency for 3 months from September 2017. 
Open to Australian practitioners, the residency includes airfare, artist fee, studio and accommodation at the Monash University Prato Centre in Tuscany. Applications are welcomed from emerging and mid-career Australian artists, for a new project or inquiry that relates to the Prato context. The residency is offered in conjunction with the Monash faculty of Art Design & Architecture (MADA) and the Monash University Museum of Art | MUMA.
Previous residents include David Rosetzky, Laresa Kosloff, Pat Foster & Jen Berean. The selected visual artist for 2016 is Charlie Sofo who will start his residency in September.
