Welcome to students!

A period of intense academic activity will be starting soon at the Prato Centre

A warm welcome to students arriving in Prato shortly!  From Monday 23rd November, the Centre will host a variety of programs spanning from the study of Dante and the Italian language and culture, to jazz music and business and society in Europe.

We are also proud to be hosting for the first time two new courses: Heritage Informatics and Diagnostics of Cultural Heritage, offered by the Faculties of Information Technology and Engineering respectively. The latter course will be taught by Professor Seracini, a pioneer in the use of multispectral imaging and analytical technologies applied to works of art and structures.

The Centre will also host students from the University of Edinburgh attending a course on Medieval and Renaissance Italy, and the annual Prato Consortium for Medieval and Renaissance Studies meeting and symposium.
