Architecture students engage with the city and its river

Following the success of last year's edition, once again the Monash University architecture students, currently in Prato, have engaged in a series of temporary installations in the city.  The theme this year is the river Bisenzio, its impact and influence on the identity of the city.

The official project launch, entitled "Multiple Entities", will be held at 2.00pm on Tuesday 7 October in the courtyard of the Monash Prato Centre, in via Pugliesi 26. Students will lead the way to each of the five selected sites that host their installations along the river.

"These installations are seen as opportunities to connect with the local context and communities, and explore the engagement between the river, the city, and its people" (Professor Justin Mallia).
