Moonlight cinema in Prato - Screening of Tracks

Part of the Prato Estate 2014 summer festival, Monash University in collaboration with the Comune di Prato is pleased to announce the screening of Australian film Tracks on Monday 14 July at 9.45pm.

A unique opportunity to experience moonlight cinema in Italy in a 13th century castle! 

Directed by John Curran and featuring Mia Wasikowska, Adam Driver, and from the producer's of The King's Speech, Tracks (2013) is a true story of a young woman who embarks on a 2,700 km journey on camel-back across the Australian desert.  It is an adaptation of Robyn Davidson's memoir of the same name. A critically acclaimed film, Tracks received three awards nominations (at the Venice and London film festivals, and Asia Pacific Screen Awards) including Best Film and Golden Lion.

This is the 4th consecutive year that Monash collaborates with the local government to include an Australian film in the film festival representing an important aspect of the Centre's community engagement initiatives.

The film will be screened in original language with subtitles in Italian.
